About The Journal

The Journal of Business, Economics and Environmental Studies (JBEES), formally known as East Asian Journal of Business Management (EAJBM), is an international peer-reviewed journal, which is devoted to addressing contemporary issues of business, economics, and environmental studies throughout the world. JBEES publishes quarterly journals in full English on the following months: January, April, July, and October. The aim of JBEES is simply to bring together theoretical, conceptual, and empirical research in business, economics, and environmental studies. The journal audience includes, among others, the academia and researchers, economists, social scientists, environmental scientists, international business executives, and policy makers, as well as managers from both for- profit and not-for-profit corporations.

Call for Paper

JBEES is an open access journal that publishes original research analysis and inquiry into contemporary issues of business, economics, and environmental studies throughout the world. The journal publishes four issues per year quarterly in English via both in print and online with DOI. JBEES is one of the journals published by Korea Distribution Science Association (KODISA), and the quality publication system of KODISA journals meets the international standard of journal publications.

 

Types of Paper Submissions

Journal Article: The research article should describe new and/or carefully investigated findings, and research methods should be provided in sufficient detail for others to verify the work. All regular research articles are peer-reviewed by a minimum of three referees.

Short Communication: This short communication is suitable for reporting the results of small investigations or giving details of new models, innovative methods, or techniques. The style of the main sections does not need to conform to those of full-length papers. Short communication articles are also peer-reviewed.

Critical Reviews: Submissions of critical reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interests are welcome and encouraged. Critical review manuscripts are also peer-reviewed.

The following are some examples of subjects and related content for the papers that are appropriate for JBEES:

Business: Diversity, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Structure and Culture, Leadership, Management, and Global, Technological, Ethical, Political, Legal, and Social Issues in Business.

Economics: Market Size, Demand and Supply, Distribution, Retail, Wholesale, Marketing, Suppliers, Logistics, Monetary & Fiscal Policy, Unemployment, Labor Market, Inflation, Interest Rates, GDP, Tax, Tariff, Trade, and Exchange Rates.

Environmental: Business Ecology, Business or Corporate Sustainability, Ecology of Commerce, Ecology and Natural Resource Management, Energy Economics, Environmental Economics, Industrial Ecology, Resource Economics, and Environmental Policy and Management.

In order to submit your paper, please send your manuscript and associated files in MS Word format by e-mail to the editorial office: Online Submission https://kodisa.jams.or.kr/co/main/jmMain.kci or dongho.kim@esc.edu .Authors are encouraged to include tables and figures as part of the main file. All manuscripts must be prepared according to theJBEES submission guidelines and accompanied by a letter of attestation, which states, “The article has not been previously published and is not under review elsewhere.”
